The
arts community was delighted, and other constituencies less so,
when Helen Clark, Prime Minister and self-appointed Minister of
the Arts, announced a financial bonanza to a sector accustomed to
crumbs.
Jim
Hubbard joined the Daily Telegraph in Napier as editorial artist
and cartoonist in 1985. Now a freelance cartoonist, he was a regular
contributor to the Dominion unitl 2002. His works appears in North
and South and in six provincial newspapers.
