No Silver Lining
Trevor Lloyd, New Zealand Herald, circa 1933
Reference no: B-115-011

The 1932 Imperial Conference in Ottawa established Empire preference and while this benefited New Zealand and Australian dairying there was fear of Britain imposing a quota on Australasian butter exports.

Trevor Lloyd (1863-1937), possibly best known for his studies of native flora and fauna, was political cartoonist on the New Zealand Herald from 1910-1930.
