Copyright,
Library Permission and Reproduction Fees
The Alexander Turnbull Library encourages the reproduction
of items from its collections. Certain conditions have to
be observed.
As
part of the ordering process you must seek permission to use
the cartoons from the Alexander Turnbull Library as keeper
of the images. Reproduction fees may apply.
As
the user you must obtain written permission to use the cartoon(s)
from the copyright holder yourself and meet any other requirements
that they may have placed on the item. The copyright holder
may be the cartoonist or the publisher or the donor or the
owner of the original. The Library is usually able to help
with an address for the copyright holder(s). You will need
to provide this written evidence to the Alexander Turnbull
Library.
